First Amendment Paper

You will write a 4-page paper (double-spaced, 12 pt font, 1 margins, APA citations). You are required to use at least two sources. You must include a relevant court case decision. You will use APA citations. 
You will choose ONE of 3 possible topics: the first choice (A) allows you to select any news story that relates to any of the First Amendment Freedoms; the second (B) and third choices (C) are already specific topics. 
A. Freedoms. Find a news story that relates to and/or impacts First Amendment Freedoms. Answer questions 1-6 below and cite your sources. I think there’s been a lot of news stories in the last few years that touch on the five freedoms.

B. The Pledge. Why and when was the phrase Under God added to the pledge of allegiance? Does it violate the First Amendments clause that the US would not establish any religion? Also, answer the questions below and cite your sources.
 
C. The Parade. What ifthe city of San Mateo rejected an application from the local chapter of the KKK to participate in the July 4th parade? Dare to defend the KKKs right to assemble and be included in their citys parade and answer the questions below and cite your sources.
