Political Film Analysis

THE FORMER WRITER  DID NOT WRITE RELATED CONTENT TO CLASS IN THE THIRD QUESTION. PLEASE REVISE THE THIRD QUESTION AND WRITE A 250 SHORT ESSAY FOR THE SECOND FILM.

I’M ALREADY GIVING A LOT OF MONEY, SO IF YOU BID HIGHER THAN MY PRICE, I WON’T TAKE IT.

HERE ARE THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS:
You are to write one longer paper and one shorter paper for this assignment. For the longer paper (1000-1250 words), you will choose one movie from the list above and answer the following question in as much detail as you can provide: 1) What are the ideological messages being promoted in the film?; 2) In what ways is political communication demonstrated in the film?; 3) How do the things you’re learning in class jibe with the depictions in the film? You need to demonstrate that you’ve watched the film carefully so that you can provide specific illustrations from it and connect those back to the content we are talking about in class. For the shorter paper (between 250 and 500 words), you choose a second film and answer one of the above three questions.  You may choose whichever of the three you want, but make your answer is again detailed enough to demonstrate connections between elements of the film and the course content.

I chose Wag the Dog for the longer paper and Thirteen Days for the shorter one.

IMPORTANT: Since you’re writing something connected to what we learned in class. I uploaded my notes here. This is a political communication class. Please focus on political advertising and political speech for the analysis.
