Now that you’ve committed to your persuasive speech purpose, have read how to create a thesis and taken the quiz, it’s time for you now to formulate your own thesis statement.
Remember, the Purpose Statement you have already created is designed to help you focus your goal…. what you want to do in your speech…. to inform or to persuade. In our case here, we are persuading.
Thesis Statements, however, guide speakers as they develop the details of their speech AND guide audience members as they listen to the speech being presented.
